Elevate Sound Book a session

Your details, and what happens to them

Elevate Sound is a one person business in Ramsgate. This page says plainly what the website collects, why, and how to have it removed.

The enquiry form

The form asks for your name and your email address, and lets you add a phone number, what you are interested in and a message. Everything you type is emailed straight to Elevate Sound, and is also stored securely on this website's hosting so that she can reply to you and keep a record of the enquiry.

That stored copy is kept for up to twelve months and is then deleted. Your details are used only to answer you and to arrange a session. They are never sold, never shared with anyone else, and never added to a mailing list. You can ask for them to be deleted at any time, and they will be.

Anonymous counts

Separately from the form, and apart from the page-view counts described under Cookies, the website counts two things: that a phone link was tapped, and that a messaging link was tapped. Each count records the page it happened on and the time. That is the whole record.

No name, no email address, no phone number, no message and no visitor address is stored with a count. There is nothing in it that could point back to a person, including you. The counts exist so that Elevate Sound knows which pages people actually use.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies. There is no advertising, no tracking pixel and nothing that follows you to another website. Cloudflare, which serves this website, counts page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, uses no local storage and does not identify you. It records totals such as which pages are viewed and how quickly they load.

Booking through Eventbrite

Public sessions are booked on Eventbrite, which is a separate company. When you follow a booking link you leave this website, and what Eventbrite collects is covered by its own privacy policy, not this one.

Asking for your details to be deleted

You can ask at any time for what you sent to be deleted, ask what is held, or ask for something to be corrected. Reply to any email from Elevate Sound, or use the contact form. Your rights under UK data protection law include seeing what is held about you and having it erased.

If you are not happy with the answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK regulator for data protection.
