Margate
Sound baths in Margate
About fifteen minutes down the coast, the public hour runs in Ramsgate. A one-to-one or a private group comes to you in Margate instead.
I do not run a public sound bath in Margate. The public hour is in Ramsgate, about four and a half to six miles away, which is about a fifteen minute drive. If you would rather not travel at all, a one-to-one happens at your end instead, from £55 for the hour, and a private group is priced when you ask.
That is the whole answer. The rest of this page is the detail behind it.
Coming over from Margate
The Falstaff Hotel is on Addington Street, near the Royal Harbour and the beaches. There is free parking at the rear, first come first served.
Published routes put the drive at twelve to sixteen minutes, so call it about fifteen. Allow more than that, because doors open ten minutes before the start and there is no entry once the session has begun. Arriving at the start time is arriving too late.
A place is £25 for the hour. The date is the part I cannot give you yet: next dates announced soon, and the ticket listing is the only place a real date ever appears.
Having one in Margate instead
A one-to-one is from £55 for the hour. A group or a workplace hour is priced on the room and the number of you, up to 20 people.
What I need at your end is enough floor for everyone to stretch out, a door that shuts, and somewhere I can park close enough to carry the instruments in.
Tell me whether your people are bringing mats and blankets or whether you are providing them. It is the detail most likely to be forgotten, and an hour on a bare floor is a long one.
Why there is no Margate date on this page
Because there is not one. I have run two sessions in total and neither was in Margate. Putting a Margate date here that does not exist would be the easiest thing on this website to do and the worst.
If enough people in Margate want an hour, that is how a Margate date happens: somebody asks for one. Until then the honest version is a quarter of an hour to Ramsgate, or an hour at your own place.
Before you book anything
What to expect at a sound bath answers the questions first-timers actually ask, and what to wear to a sound bath covers the practical half.
I drive for private bookings as well. Two more towns have pages of their own: sound baths in Canterbury and sound baths in Whitstable. The rest of the towns I come to are on my page for sound baths in Kent.
