Sound baths in Kent: the towns I come to
Public sessions run in Ramsgate. Private and one-to-one sessions travel to you, anywhere within about a 30 minute drive of Ramsgate.
I am in Ramsgate, and that is where the public sessions are. For a private group, a workplace or a one-to-one, I will travel anywhere within about a 30 minute drive of Ramsgate. That is the honest boundary, and it is a drive time rather than a county.
I would rather name the towns than say "Kent" and let you work out whether you are in it. Kent runs from the Medway towns to the Sussex border, and I do not cover it. What follows is the whole list.
Thanet, all of it, well inside the half hour
Everything in Thanet is a short drive from Ramsgate, so none of it is a stretch.

Margate is the one people ask about most, so it has a page of its own.
East Kent, inside the half hour
South down the coast and west inland, these are all within the drive.

At the edge of the half hour
These two are right on the boundary. I will still come, but the drive is the thing that decides the date, so ask early rather than late.
- Dover
- Faversham
Dover is about 20 miles, and published routes disagree with each other by more than ten minutes on it. Faversham is about 26 miles and lands at about half an hour.
Ashford is the one I have to say no to. It is about 32 miles and nearer 50 minutes, which is outside the half hour by a clear margin, so I am not going to pretend otherwise.
Two ways to do this
What you can actually book
- A place at a public session in Ramsgate. £25 for the hour at The Falstaff Hotel, with free parking at the rear. You travel to me.
- A one-to-one, from £55 for the hour. Anywhere in the list above. Ask for the number before you commit.
- A private group or a workplace hour, up to 20 people. No price list, because no two rooms are the same. Tell me what you have in mind and I will tell you what it costs.
There is no public date anywhere but Ramsgate. If you want a session in your own town, the way it happens is that you or your group ask for one.
The same hour, wherever it is
One hour. You lie down with your eyes shut while white crystal singing bowls and hand-played Tibetan bowls are played around the room, with tingsha and chimes at the edges of it.
There is a guided settling and some breathwork at the start, and time at the end to rest before anybody stands up. Nothing is asked of you and there is nothing to join in with.
