Your own group, or just you

Private, workplace and one-to-one sound baths

If you would rather have a sound bath for your own group, or one just for you, ask. A one-to-one is from £55 for the hour. Group and workplace sessions are arranged one at a time around the room, the group and the date.

How this works

A one-to-one is from £55 for the hour. For a group or a workplace there is no price list, because no two of those are the same: the cost depends on the room, how many of you there are, how far it is and how long you want.

Tell me roughly what you have in mind and you will get a straight answer: whether it works, what it would cost, and whether I think it is a good idea. If a public session would suit you better, I will say so.

I cover Ramsgate and anywhere within about a 30 minute drive of it. That is the whole of Thanet, Margate included, plus Sandwich, Deal, Canterbury, Herne Bay and Whitstable comfortably, and Dover and Faversham at the edge of it. The full list is on where I bring a sound bath in east Kent.

For a sense of scale: a place at a public session is £25 for the hour. A private booking is priced differently because it is your own room and your own date, not a seat in a shared one. If you have not been to one before, what to expect at a sound bath covers the hour itself.

Just you

A one-to-one sound bath

From £55 for the hour. The same instruments and the same hour as a public session, in a room with nobody else in it.

If you are not sure whether this is a gong bath or a sound bath, I have written up the difference.

Some people want the hour without a room full of strangers in it. Some want to be able to get up and leave without anyone noticing. Some have asked a question on the safety notes and would rather talk it through before they lie down. A one-to-one is for any of those.

It is the same hour: white crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls played live by hand, tingsha and chimes, a guided settling at the start and time to rest at the end. You can read more about me and my training before you ask.

If you have not been to a public one, what to wear covers the clothes. For a one-to-one, ask me what to have ready when we sort out the details.

£55 is a starting price, not a quote, so tell me roughly where you are and I will give you the number before you commit to anything.

Private sound bath or a public place?

A public place costs £25 and puts you in a shared room. A one-to-one, priced from £55, gives you the room to yourself. The public hour takes people aged 16 and over, and nobody can join after the start. A one-to-one suits anyone who would rather not share.

A private sound bath near Ramsgate

I offer one-to-one sessions in Ramsgate and in towns up to about a 30 minute drive away. Margate is 12 to 16 minutes by road from Ramsgate, Canterbury about 28 minutes and Whitstable about 26 minutes. Any private booking starts with a message, so say which town you are in.

A sound bath at home

Yes, a one-to-one sound bath can come to your home. I travel to people's homes in Ramsgate and anywhere within about a 30 minute drive of it, so you can lie down in a room you already know instead of travelling to one.

It is the same one-to-one: white crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls played live by hand, tingsha and chimes, a guided settling at the start and time to rest at the end, with nobody else in the room. You need space to lie down flat, and I will tell you what else to have ready when we sort out the details.

There is no travel charge anywhere in Thanet, including Ramsgate, Broadstairs and Margate. Elsewhere within the 30 minute area, such as Canterbury, Sandwich, Deal or Whitstable, there is a flat £15 travel charge.

Send a message with your town and roughly when suits you. The price for coming to you comes back with my reply, before you commit to anything.

The usual reasons

Who asks for these

Two people sitting on a warm floor with brass singing bowls between them.

A group of friends

A birthday, a hen weekend, or a Sunday where nobody can face another brunch. Your own room, your own people, and nobody you have to make conversation with afterwards.

A pair of hands resting open beside a single lit candle on a warm floor.

A workplace

An hour for a team that has had a hard quarter, for up to 20 people. It needs a room with a door, enough floor space to lie down, and an hour where nobody is expected to check their phone.

Seen from above, a person sitting on a warm oak floor surrounded by brass singing bowls in a shaft of sunlight.

A retreat or a class

If you already run a yoga day, a workshop or a wellbeing morning and want a sound bath as part of it, that usually works well as a closing hour.

Booking a workplace sound bath

A workplace sound bath is arranged by enquiry, and there is no published price for one. Group capacity is up to 20 people. Every workplace booking question starts with a message: use the form below, or send a workplace enquiry on the contact page.

The room, the date and the size of the group all go in the first message, and the price follows from those.

Practical

What a room needs

  • Floor space. Enough for everyone to lie down flat with a little room around them.
  • A door that closes. The hour does not work with people walking through.
  • Somewhere to park nearby. Close enough to carry the instruments in.
  • Mats and blankets. Either everyone brings their own, or you provide them. Let me know which.

If you are not sure your space works, describe it or send a photo and I will tell you.

No obligation

Tell me what you have in mind

Roughly how many people, roughly when, and roughly where. That is enough to start.

Every message gets a personal reply. Your details are used only to answer your enquiry and are never shared or added to a mailing list.
